Title: Function Reconstruction from Non-uniform Fourier Data
Speaker: Guohui Song (Assistant Professor, Division of Mathematics and Computer Science, Clarkson University)
Hosted by Weihong Guo
Abstract: Nonuniform Fourier data are routinely collected in applications such as magnetic resonance imaging, synthetic aperture radar, and synthetic imaging in radio astronomy. We will discuss in this talk the reconstruction of functions from its finite non-uniform Fourier samples. Specifically, we provide a mathematical foundation of this problem through the use of Fourier frames and the development of admissible frames. As a result, a stable and efficient algorithm based on that will also be presented.
