The Math Tutoring Center in Sears Library 567 is designed to be a place for students to improve their mathematical proficiency in Math 223/224. The intent is to have a place within the Department of Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Statistics where students could work together and receive help as needed to learn the necessary material in these important transitional classes.
The center contains tables and chairs where students can work on mathematics, either individually or in groups. There is a small collection of textbooks available for reference, and there is often a supplemental instructor available to answer questions. The center is open all day. The full tutoring schedule is available at the following link (add link), and the professor’s office hours are posted on their doors and syllabus.
