The MAMS department is a Math Alliance member whose goal is “Every underrepresented or underserved American student with the talent and the ambition has the opportunity to earn a doctoral degree in a mathematical or statistical science.” The Director of Graduate Studies, Dr. Wanda Strychalski, and the Associate Chair, Dr. Nick Gurski, participated in the 2022 Field of Dream Conference (held on November 4-6, 2022) to introduce our Graduate Programs to participants. We hope to recruit more under-represented minorities to our Graduate Programs.
