MAMS Alumnus, Nicholas Barendregt was recently featured in the Case Western Reserve ArtSci Magazine, honoring his senior capstone project during the 2017-18 academic year. Check out the article here. Our very own, Professor David Gurarie and MAMS alumna Dr. Nara Yoon, were featured in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America (PNAS). Established in 1914, PNAS publishes cutting-edge research, science news, commentaries, perspectives, colloquium papers, reviews, and actions of the National Academy of Sciences. Drs. Yoon and Gurarie’s research, Impact and Cost-Effectiveness of Snail Control to Achieve Disease Control Targets for Schistosomiasis, modeled transmission of schistosomiasis and cost-effectiveness of various strategies with data from low- and high-prevalence rural Kenyan communities.
