The Department of Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Statistics is pleased to announce that Assistant Professor Sakshi Arya has been named a Veale Faculty Fellow in the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship, class of 2025-26. Professor Arya is one of six researchers selected from 22 applicants spanning five Case Western Reserve schools. This yearlong program supports faculty who bring their research into the fellowship as a case study, offering a structured way to explore translation, assess real-world relevance, and build fluency around entrepreneurship without stepping away from their academic roles. As part of this program, Dr. Arya is building an AI software tool to help small, independent farmers make better decisions about their business.
