Title: New invariant projections on the Hardy space on the polydisc

Speaker: Mr. Maciej Rzeszut (Polish Academy of Sciences)

Abstract: We extend Stein’s martingale inequality to the case p=1, a filtration of periodic subsets of the circle, and to functions being polynomials with suitably restricted degrees. We present an application of this result to the theory of trigonometric series of two variables. Specifically, we construct new invariant projections on the space of analytic functions on the bidisc endowed with the L1 norm.
